Welcome to Tamborine Mountain Community Care Assn Inc (TMCCA)
Tamborine Mountain Community Care Assn Inc (TMCCA) was established in 1992 to provide care for residents on Tamborine Mountain so that they could remain living independently in their homes.
TMCCA receives funds to provide services through the Australian Federal Government, Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA). In addition TMMCA accepts donations and raises money through fundraising which is used to support training programs for staff and volunteers and to fund capital projects.
All services provided by TMCCA are designed and delivered on the basis that provision of the services will prevent early admission to aged care homes and therefore enabling clients to remain living in their own homes as long as possible. Services provided by TMCCA are designated low care, where services are beyond the level of our scope referral’s to other high level care service providers can be made. TMCCA staff are available to guide you through the transition process as required.
Services available from TMCCA (subject to eligibility and prior approval) are listed below with brief descriptions about each service type. All services attract fees which are subsidised with funding from the Federal government.
Tamborine Mountain community Care Association (TMCAA) is a non-government, not for profit organisation run by an elected management Committee of volunteers, which aims to promote collaborative working relationships with the federal and state governments and members of the local and wider community. TMCAA members include local residents, volunteers, clients and local organisations.
Our vision is to provide and advocate for services and educational programs to enable residents who are frail, aged or with disabilities to live independently in their homes on Tamborine Mountain.
